A Plague Tale Legacy Cannon Fodder: Brute and Soldier Setup

To unlock Cannon fodder in A Plague Tale Legacy, the achievement requirement is to lure a Brute into killing one soldier while the Brute is in a rage. The important parts are the enemy roles, the Brute’s rage state and the final hit; ordinary combat kills do not satisfy the wording.

How to prepare the attempt

Keep the soldier alive, create space, and make the Brute enter its rage state before leading it toward the soldier. Move in a line that lets the Brute maintain aggro without putting you between both enemies. If the soldier dies to another hazard or the Brute is not raging, reset the encounter rather than assuming the achievement will count.

Why this is easy to miss

The requirement is about an enemy killing another enemy. A Brute killing the player, a soldier killing the Brute, or a non-rage attack does not match the stated condition. The achievement list gives the condition but not a universal arena or exact timing, so use a repeatable mixed-enemy encounter on the released build.
