Ariadne is named in Asobo’s official myth retelling. That is not the same as a confirmed on-screen companion.

What DEVBLOG #3 confirms

Asobo’s DEVBLOG #3, “Into The Myth” (Steam news hub, App 2713000) retells the legend in order:

  1. Minos breaks a promise to Poseidon.
  2. The Minotaur is born.
  3. Daedalus builds the labyrinth.
  4. Theseus volunteers.
  5. Ariadne, Minos’s daughter, gives him a thread. He kills the Minotaur and follows the thread out.
  6. He abandons her, and she curses him.

Asobo’s line for the game is: “Resonance begins the moment the thread vanishes, and nothing guarantees the way back…”

So the official record places Ariadne in the myth the island is built on, and it places the campaign after her thread is gone.

What is not published

  • Whether Ariadne appears as a character you meet, fight, or train with.
  • A personality, skill list, or player weapon.
  • Any equipment name.

The Minotaur myth page already flags this gap. This profile does not fill it with “clear-headed, political” or “minoan-era ally.”
